Lori Roberts, 67, of Tucumcari died Sunday July 3, 2005, at Laurel Ridge Healthcare.
She was born June 19, 1938, to Serafin and Alvina Salazar Cordova in Vaughn.
She married Johnny Roberts July 31, 1954 in Clovis. She worked in housekeeping at the Hotel Clovis before moving to Tucumcari 25 years ago. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Tucumcari where she sang in the Choir. She loved to sing gospel songs and listen to western music.
She was preceded in death by her father and three brothers, Sammy, Joaquin and Marcelina Cordova.
She is survived by her husband; her mother Alvina Cordova of Clovis; three sons, Eddie Roberts (and wife, Rhonda) of Clovis, Ricky Roberts of Lubbock and J.J. Roberts of Clovis; two daughters Carolina Swartz (Dale) of Kerrville, Texas, and Sandra Brown of Clovis; three brothers, Robert, Paul and Ray Cordova, all of Clovis; three sisters, Madlyn Hail of Clovis, and Lola Romero and Mary Cordova ,both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and five Grandchildren.
Rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Father Sotero Sena will officiate.
Burial will follow at Tucumcari Memorial Park. Deacon Daniel Chavez will officiate the burial ceremony.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Cordova, Ray Cordova, Paul Cordova Sr., Paul Cordova Jr., Patrick Cordova, Kenny Swartz, Albert Cordova and Benjamen Cordova.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
