CLOVIS, N.M. - Johnnie Joe Roberts, 75, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, in Lubbock, Texas.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church with the Rev. Sotero Sena officiating. Burial will be in Tucumcari Memorial Park in Tucumcari by Muffley Funeral Home.
Mr. Roberts was born Jan. 22, 1933, to Ruel and Margaret Anaya Roberts in Tucumcari. He married Lori Cordova on July 31, 1954, in Clovis.
Survivors include three sons, Eddie Roberts and J.J. Roberts, both of Clovis, and Ricky Roberts of Lubbock; two daughters, Carolina Swartz of Kerrville, Texas, and Sandra Brown of Clovis; four brothers, LeRoy Montano of Phoenix, Cecil Montano of Texico, Jimmy Montano of Corrales and Bennie Montano of Santa Fe; and five grandchildren.
