Charlotte A Day, age 99, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Monday afternoon, June 24, 2013 at the Continental Manor Nursing Home in Blanchester, Ohio.

She was born October 9, 1913 in Tuscola, Kentucky, daughter of the late James Leonard & Mary Melvina (Skeans) Lester. On February 12, 1935, she married Harley W. Day, who died May 13, 1999.

She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Wilmington, Jr. Mother's Club, the New Vienna Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Aux.

Surviving are her 3 sons, 2 daughters, 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Day was preceded in death by her sister- Edna Mays and 2 brothers- Walter R. Lester and Glenn E. Lester.

Funeral Services will be held 12:30 PM, Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Rev. Dr. Tom Stephenson officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.

Friends will be received from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM Saturday at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH .
