Eldean Adams, our beloved husband, dad, and grandpa, passed away September 15, 2006, at his home after a valiant battle with Parkinson's disease.

Eldean was born to Percy and Murn Adams, September 17, 1932, in Lindon, Utah. He married Beverly Shoell on January 18, 1956, in Ely, Nevada. The marriage was solemnized on January 25, 1983, in the Provo Temple.

Eldean is preceded in death by his parents; and, is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Beverly; his son, Lynn (Joy); daughters, Connie and Lori; grandchildren: Tyler, Lindsay, Parker and Carly; brother, Max (Geri); sisters, Lois (Lyle) Walker and Carol (Bert) Fotheringham.

Eldean was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in Korea from 1952 to 1954.

Eldean was well respected in the construction field for his talents in the plastering and drywall trades. He was a licensed contractor for over 50 years; and, also retired from Orem City Corporation after 27 years.

Eldean was a good man, who always strived to do his best for his family, in his work, or to help his neighbors and friends. He was blessed with a quick wit and charm that endeared him to those who knew him.

Eldean held various positions in the Church and especially enjoyed home teaching, and working on the Welfare Farm and at the cannery.

Our dad was considered the neighborhood "Dad" to all of our friends as we were growing up. He was always good company, whether he was saying anything or not. He will be greatly missed.

The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the caring staff of Intermountain Hospice.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at 11 a.m., in the Suncrest 4th Ward Chapel, 190 North 800 West, Orem. Friends may call on the family at the church on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.; and, again on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow in the Orem City Cemetery, where full Military Honors will be accorded.
