A native of Greenville County, she was the wife of Tommy Edward Burgess and the daughter of the late Bill Spearman and Pat (Watson) Waldrop.
Mrs. Burgess attended Harvest Cathedral Church of God and was a quality control inspector.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Stephanie Middleton of Roanoke, VA, and Krista LeAnn Burgess of the home; a son, Thomas Wesley Burgess of Easley; two sisters, Tamma Carson of Greenville and Wanda Spearman of Greer; a brother, Hap Waldrop of Greenville; and a grandson, Tyler Nicholas Burgess.
Visitation was Tuesday, July l5, 2005 from 10:00-11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with funeral services at noon in the funeral chapel. Entombment was in Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
