HOOVER, DANNY LYNN, 59, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on June 23, 2013. Mr. Hoover was an operations manager for Cable Engineering and later for Comcast. He was a member of AmVets Daniel Boone Post #1 and St. Athanasius Catholic Church; and he was a U.S. Army veteran. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Paul Hoover and Nora Thompson; brother, Tommy Hoover; and half-brother, Jimmy Thompson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 37 years, Sharon Hoover; sons, Jeremy (Christy) and Chad Hoover; daughter, Ashley Everly (Dave); grandchildren, Justin, Alexis, Jerek, Jase and Shelby; brothers, Paul (Vickie), Gary (Kay) and Ronnie (Ginger) Hoover; half-brothers, Mike, John and Ricky Thompson and half-sister, Cindy Thompson.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in St. Michael Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 1-8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of service at Schoppenhorst.
