Obituary
Longtime local resident Inez Olga Simonson Martin, 86, of Longview died Oct. 25, 2012, at St. John Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 27, 1925, in Kelso to Henry and Lena S. (Anderson) Simonson.
She loved square dancing with the Merry Mavericks. She enjoyed homemaking, gardening and working at the Triangle Bowl Restaurant and Mod O' Day clothing store.
Inez is survived by two sons, Larry Martin (Alyn) of Kelso and Dennis Martin of Longview; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and her lifelong friend, Joyce M. Glaser of Battle Ground, Wash.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Marion D. Martin Sr. in 2002; a son, Marion D. Martin Jr. in 1977; and two sisters, Edna K. Swafford in 1972 and Eleanor S. Isaksen in 1983.
A celebration of Inez' life will be announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pioneer Mount Solo Cemetery, care of Lenny Laulainen, 221 Songbird Lane, Longview, WA 98632.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Columbia Funeral Service.
