Virginia Unrein passed away peacefully at the age of 90. She was the oldest of nine children.
Virginia held her faith as a Seventh Day Adventist. She loved to prospect and collect rocks, plant flowers, and was also very talented with writing. She successfully wrote and published several of her own songs on cd. She also loved always giving one of her treasurers to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Virginia married Albert Unrein at the age of 17 and celebrated their 73rd anniversary in February.
She is predeceased of her sons Larry Unrein and Lester Unrein; grandsons Bowman Unrein and Steven Unrein, and her granddaughter Eve Unrein.
Survivors include her husband Albert Unrein; three sons Daniel (Sassa) Unrein, George (Charlene) Unrein, and David (Shiela) Unrein.
Virginia was a proud grandmother to Daniel (Todd) Unrein, John Akin, Chaundra (Mike) Hershey, Kelly Unrein, Nancy (Ted) Tolson, Trena (Jesse) Mattson, Nicholas Unrein, James (Michelle) Unrein, Christie Foster, Alexandra (Shane) Davis, Brian Unrein, Larry Unrein, and Lacey Unrein.
She was also the proud great-grandmother to Ashley, Katie, Taylor, Bo (David's), Serena, Elizabeth (Scarlett), Amanda (George's), and Mariah, Haven, Danny, Tanya (Chase), Sara, Randi, Nicholas, Cannon, Hayley, Emily, Jimmie, Gunnar, Bergen and Haakon (Daniel's).
We will celebrate her life with a private Graveside Interment Service as per her wishes, at Grand View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Colorado.
