Eugene S. Woltman, 66, of 1320 Sussex Drive, died at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Woltman retired in 1984 from AM General Corp. He was born May 8, 1922 in South Bend and lived here all his life. On August 30. 1947, in South Bend, he married Wanda L. Splawski. She survives with a daughter, Shirley Hab of South Bend; a son Kenneth of Mishawaka; four grandchildren; and a brother, Norman, of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Entombment will be in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday. He was a member of the American Legion Pulaski Post 357, the Local 5 UAW Retirees Club, and a life member of Army and Navy Union 146. Mr. Woltman was a Army veteran of World War II.
