Asheville - Patricia Trantham, of 265 Brickyard Road, died Thursday February 26, 2009, at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Trantham of the home; two sons, John and Shane Reep and daughter-in-law, Jeanne Parris, all of Asheville; five step children, Bruce Trantham Jr, Richard Trantham, Michelle Trantham, Sasha Trantham and Patrick Trantham, all of Asheville. She is also survived by her father, James Manuel Pressley Sr. of Canton; and brothers, James Pressley Jr. of Marshall, Tim Pressley of Asheville; sister, Joy Davis of Candler; and two neices, Heather Carter and Brandy Pressley. Also surviving are aunt, Donna Robinson of Dekaleb, Ga.; and uncle, Jim Owen of Canton.

She was preceeded in death by her mother, Doris Owens Pressley.

She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Smokey and Daisy Trantham, of the home.

A gathering of family and friends in celebration of her life was held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2009 at Wells Funeral Home, Canton. Danny Multry officiated.

In leiu of flowers donations were made to Davita Dialysis Center of Asheville and/or Dr. Joseph Aiello and staff at Mountain Kidney of Asheville.
