GRAHAM, N.C. - Ophelia Martin Gentry, 86, of 810 Spanish Oak Court, Lot 16, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Charleston Area Medical Center Hospital in Charleston, W.Va.
Born Jan. 8, 1921, in Pittsylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Millard Martin and the late Marion Aron Martin.
She was retired as a server at the Holiday Inn, and was of the Baptist faith.
She was married to the late Talmadge Gentry.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Bobbitt of Alamance County, and Marion K. Poke of Danville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruby Handy, of Danville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Mable Martin.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, at Norris Funeral Services with the Rev. Dr. Danny Davis officiating. Interment will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
