Born in Derry Township, March 18, 1879, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Nair. Her husband, Joseph E., preceded her in death in 1945. She was a member of the United Church of Christ (Reformed), of Latrobe.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Claude (Edna) Kepple, Latrobe; Miss Violet R. Gordon, at home; Mrs. W. W. (Dolly) Morris, Gainesville, Fla.; three sons, J. Melvin, Latrobe; Eddie F., at home; C. Elwood, Darlington; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Smith, Holsopple, Pa.
Friends will be received at the M. S. Hartman Funeral Home, Latrobe, and the family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be conducted there at 2 p.m. Friday in charge of the Rev. Reynold K. Ziegler. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery.
