Della Elizabeth Newbury, 100, of Fairfield Plantation, Villa Rica, died June 7, 2013.
She was born in Mounds City, Illinois on February 4, 1913, the daughter of the late Morris Kreitner and the late Maggie Lusk Kreitner. She had moved to this area a few years ago to be closer to her daughter. She was a retired artist and florist and was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Judith Moody of Fairfield Plantation, Villa Rica, GA and Mary Nelson of Folly Beach, South Carolina.
In accordance with her wishes, the body was cremated and a celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 3:00 P .M. from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Rafael Carballa officiating.
