Mrs. Margaret Gascon Craite, 79, widow of Nelson Craite, died at 2 a.m. Sunday [8 Nov] at her home, 1832 Green street.

Mrs. Craite was born in Canada April 17, 1863 [1862], and came to Racine from Escanaba, Mich., in 1934. She was a member
of St. John's Catholic church.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Alfred [Dora] Fugere of Racine, Mrs. Tom [Yvonne] Crane and Mrs. Omer [Bertha] Moran, both of Detroit, and Mrs. Leo [Flora] Fugere of Escanaba; a grandson, Pvt. W[alter]. J. Thibeault, Camp Davis, N. C.; two brothers in Canada [Joseph, Charles] and two sisters, one in Detroit [Rosalie] and one in Seattle [Rosina].

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Strouf funeral home and at 9 a.m. in St. John's church with Rev. A. G. Weiler officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Friends may call this afternoon and evening at the funeral home and until time of services. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 tonight.
