Brushy Creek. On the 12th, death visited the home of Mrs C S Self and carried away his beloved wife, leaving a husband and eight children who have the sympathy of their many friends and relatives. Mrs Self has led a devoted Christian life and was loved y her many friends and she will be missed. But that is a debt we all must pay, and it will be well with us to all be ready when the death angel comes, for we know not the time when he shall appear. The service which was held at the bereaved family was conducted by C C Bailey and the burial services at Brushy Creek Cemetery, by Rev W F Bates.
