RICHFIELD - Rhoda Crosland Mikesell, 73, died December 2, 1988 in a Provo hospital.
Born October 24, 1915 in Burville, Utah to Ernest E. and Emma M. Winn Crosland. Married Wilson LaVor Mikesell February 29, 1932 in Richfield, Utah. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A very special friend and neighbor. Everyone who knew Rhoda knew of her beautiful quilting skills and homemade rugs. She was a special lady to everyone. We will miss her dearly.
Survived by her husband, Richfield; three sons and three daughters, Gloria Johnson, Sterling, Ut; Dean and wife Jackie Mikesell; Lois Roma and husband Dale Ericson; and John Robert (Bob) Mikesell, all Tooele; Colleen and husband, Frank Ashworth, Riverton; LaMar and wife, Debbie Mikesell, West Valley City; 26 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Bernice Sessions. Preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Burt, and Nathan Crosland; two sisters; Loraine Barney; and Myrtle Morrill; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6th, 12 noon, in the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday morning. Burial, Richfield Cemetery.
