Accy Lewter, 73, 820 5th Ave. SE, died at 1:20 a.m. in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Fifth Ave. Baptist Church with the Rev. W.W. Coffey officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Guntharp directing.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ida Lewter, Dectur; two sons, Floyd Lewter, and Leon Lewter, both of Chicago; four daughters, Mrs. Trudell Freeman, Cullman; Mrs. Lena Landers, Mrs. Rosa Alexander, Miss Mildred Lewter, all of Decatur; one step-daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Taylor, Decatur; one step-son, Leroy Dockery, Columbus, Miss; 21 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
