Funeral services for Thomas "Tom" Elmer Mouser, 91, were Friday, June 21, 2013 at San Patricio Baptist Church, the Reverends Delman Rogers, and Jimmy Price officiated. Burial followed in Cassell Cemetery.

Tom was born in Zwolle, LA to Dave and Azella Smith Mouser and passed away on June 19, 2013 in Mansfield, LA. He was a member of San Patricio Baptist church. Tom loved to fish and make you laugh with talking about the good ole days; but he will be remembered for his great garden.

Preceding Tom in death were his 1st wife Doris Tirpitz Mouser and 2nd Elsie Golden Mouser; parents; sons Jerry Chance and Ted Chance; sisters Irene Pickens and Marie Drew; brothers J. D. "Buck" Mouser and Charlie Mouser; grandson Darrin McCoy and great grandson Matt McCoy.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his two sons and daughter-in-law; four daughters and sons-in-law; two sisters and one brother-in-law; twenty two grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Lisa.


The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Denis Kamberov, Desoto Health Systems, DeSoto Retirement and Rehab, and Superior Hospice for the special love and care provided.
