Mary Elaine Gulley, 96, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in Munday, TX. Elaine was born September 15, 1916 in Deleon, TX to Calvin and Victoria Smith. She and Thurman Gulley were married September 4, 1936 in Haskell.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Munday.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Gulley, one son, Robert Gayle Gulley, four sisters and five brothers.
Elaine is survived by one son; Danny and wife, Susan Gulley of Munday. One daughter; Mary and husband C.H. Herring, Jr. of Breckenridge. Also, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services at 2PM, Friday, June 21, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Munday with Dr. Pete Bradfield officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home of Munday.
