Nelson D. Chrisman, 69, of Richmond, passed away Saturday morning, May 31, 2008, at The Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center.Mr. Chrisman was born on June 29, 1938, in Estill County, the son of the late Brown and Helen Walton Chrisman. He was a retired salesman for the Cysco Food Service Company of Louisville. He was a member of the Southern Comfort Car Club. He enjoyed boating, nascar and UK basketball. Mr. Chrisman was of the Baptist faith.Survivors include: one son, Steve Chrisman (Tish) of Richmond; two daughters, Kim Wilson (Ed) and Whitney (Andy) Cox, both of Richmond; five grandchildren, Brian Lowery, Sara Beth Lowery, Trey Cox, Lexee Chrisman and Braden Nelson Cox; four brothers, Billy Chrisman of Fairborn, Ohio, Paul Chrisman of Richmond, Dick Chrisman (Barb) of Panola and Trigger Chrisman (Armittie) of Ravenna; two sisters, Jewel Benton (Luther) of Columbus, Georgia and Judy Nantz (Jay) of Brown Summit, North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Opal Chrisman of Red Lick; several nieces and nephews and a host of other friends and relatives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Wayne Chrisman; one sister, Maxine Harrison; and a sister-in-law, Betty Chrisman.Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Combs, Parsons and Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Livingood officiating. Entombment will be at Madison Memorial Gardens.
