Thelma Audrey Apperson, 87, of Albany, GA, died February 10, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the True Life Church of God. Rev. W.A. Bingham will officiate. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM in Oakridge Cemetery in Tifton, GA.

A native of Brookfield, GA, Mrs. Apperson moved to Florida with her family early in life and graduated from Hillsboro High School in Tampa, FL. She moved to Albany, GA in 1950 and was employed at the Turner Field Air Force Base and attended Albany Junior College.

She met her late husband, James Martin Apperson, and they raised their family in Albany. Mrs. Apperson was a bookkeeper and was employed with Frank Dye Auto Parts, K-Mart and retired from Darton College. She was a charter member of the Harvest Temple Church of God now True Life Church of God.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law; two sons and daughters-in-law; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
