Died at Deadwood
Mr. Geo. W. Cusick, died on the 16th inst. He was a native of Ireland, but was raised in American, where he arrived with his parents when very young. He was 64 years of age and had resided here for 40 years, where he had gained the respect and love of all his neighbors. He was a good and kind neighbor and tried to remember all his friends before he died.
He had been ailing with heart and lung trouble for six years, but was a quiet sufferer, never complaining and doing all he could for himself until three weeks before he died, then his neighbors took care of him, he having no relatives.
We wish to return thanks to the people of Michigan bluff, Sunny South, and Red Point for their kindness in assisting us in our last duties to our deceased friends. There are so few of us here and we needed and appreciated their help.
