OCTOBER 4, 1969

Dewey Allgire, 70, Poe Road an employee of the Plain Township trustees for 30 years, died Friday in Wood County Hospital.

He was born October 24, 1898, in Kalida to Mr. and Mrs. William Allgire (Ida Deacon). He was married August 31, 1918 in Monroe, Mich., to Muriel Crowl.

She survives together with one son, Eugene, Anderson, Ind,; two daughters, Mrs. Irvin (Ivanelle) Fraker, Ann Arbor, Mich., and Mrs. William (Janet) Zimmerman, Phoenixville, Pa.; a brother, Carl, Rockport; a sister, Mrs. Daniel (Clara) Mitchell, Perrysburg; six Grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Manville Avenue United Brethren Church in Bowling Green, with Rev. Pauline Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Plain Township Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Fred Haskins, Ike Guilespie, Keith Bradley, Richard Lindemeyer, Don Meek, and Albert Neitz.

Friends may call at the Young & Hahn Funeral Home after 7 tonight and Sunday afternoon and evening.
