Born August 10, 1938 in Laurens, SC, she was a daughter of the late Effey Sloan and Louise Brown Sloan Moore; wife of the late Robert Lowell Bailey.
Mrs. Bailey was a member of Woodruff Church of God.
Survivors include two sons, Mike and Bruce Bailey, both of Pauline, SC; three daughters, Rita Jolly of Pomaria, SC, Sherry Edge of Roebuck, and Tracie McClure of Clinton, SC; two brothers, Robert E. "Bob" Moore of Spartanburg and Alfred "Pete" Moore of Woodruff; a sister, JoAnn Mostella of Fountain Inn, SC; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Phillip E. Bailey.
Visitation was 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Buster Ball. Burial was in Westwood Memorial Gardens.
