Mrs. Grace Oneta Kruse daughter of Mr. and Charles Edmonds of Arnolds Park was born at Lake City, January 19, 1906 and died at the Spencer Hospital, November 25, 1942 at the age of 36 years, 10 months and 6 days. She was ill only a few days
When a small child she was baptized in the Methodist Church at Lake City.
She was united in marriage to Minord Kruse on September 30, 1924. To this union ten children were born, four of whom preceded their mother in death. Wih her husband she moved shortly after their marriage to Dickinson County near Lake Park where they lived six years. The remainder of their married life was spent in Clay County. They moved to Everly about nine years ago and have since made this town their home
She is survived by her husband, Minord Kruse, two sons and four daughters. They are Gerald 17, Arline 14, Leona 12, Charlotte 9, Vera 7 and Darrel 5 years of age. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edmonds of Arnolds Park; three sisters, Mrs. Faye Culver, Dickens, Mrs. Lula Burdie, Seattle, Washington, and Mrs. Rachel Brown, Kalamazoo, Michigan, two brothers, Charles Edmonds of Dickens and LaVerne Edmonds of Arnolds Park and many other relatives and friends
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, November 30 at the Methodist Church in Everly. The Rev. T.E. Hoon of Sioux Rapids, former pastor of the Church had charge of the service
The pallbearers were Tom Pettit, John Wieben, Albert Wieben, Lawrence Hintz. Oliver Dirksen and Elmer Kinyon
Interment was made in the cemetery at the Reformed Church, northeast of Everly by the side of her children who had preceded her in death
