Ernest Jimmie Dean Henshaw Prince passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter in the late evening of June 15th, 2013. Because the funeral home didn't receive her until the early morning of the 16th, her death date has been recorded as the 16th of June 2013.

She was the beloved daughter of Ernest Wann Henshaw and Amanda Lou Swearengin Henshaw.

She married Wayne Kenneth Prince on May 9, 1955 in Iuka, Tishomingo, Mississippi. They were blessed with three daughters: Sharon, Melanie, and Celeste.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Sharon, her husband, Ken, and her siblings: Hampton, Edith, Faye, and Lois.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvin Dawson officiating. Burial followed in Prince Cemetery.

Aunt Jimmie was a very loving and compassionate person. She always thought of others first before her own needs.

Death simply isn't the end....but the beginning of another journey.
