She was a member of Living Faith Fellowship Pentecostal Holiness Church in Rocky Mount, NC. Surviving are a daughter, Betty Nelms Carter and husband, Ronald L. of Rocky Mount, NC; two sons, Grover L. Nelms and wife, Margaret M. of Rocky Mount, NC, Dwight M. Nelms and friend, Jeannie Flora of Elizabeth City, NC; a sister, Lillian R. Braswell of Tarboro, NC; brother, George W. Robbins, Jr. and wife, Lillian W. of Indian Trail, NC; six grandchildren, Sherry Carter Brown and husband, Herbert of Rocky Mount, NC, Ronald Blake Carter and wife, Vickie of Whitakers, NC, Cy A.
