We have many, many photos of granny French where she grew up on the Tulalip Indian reservation in Washington. Her father Charles was the Medical director and superintendent for all reservations in western Washington. Louise was their only child, just as Nancy was her only child.

Louise was a wonderful, caring woman, devoutly Episcopalian. The epitome of that era of gentile femininity. Appreciative of even the littlest thing you'd do for her, and never a negative thing about anyone. She lived in her home near Green Lake in Seattle until moved to a nursing home in Ventura, CA so that Nancy could care for her. All these years later and we still miss her.
