Morgiana Maria was the daughter of Amos Sawyer Jr. and Sarah {Howe} Sawyer, both of Berlin, Worcester, Massachusetts. She and Lorren Arnold married in Berlin on 12 August 1860. They had two daughters, India Howe Arnold and Cora Belle Arnold, who lived to adulthood. Their son, Harry Jackson Arnold, died in infancy and is buried with his parents. India married Louis P. Howe and Cora Belle married Charles W. Curtis. Both spouses were in shoe manufacturing and banking in the City of Marlborough, Mass.
