Mr. Tommy Cole, b.k.a. "Scrapp"
(April 8, 1933 - April 5, 2013)

TOMMY COLE was born April 8, 1933, in Madison County, Alabama, to the late Willis Cole and the late Lucy Ragland. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Sarah Harper on December 20, 1952.

Tommy accepted Christ as his Savior at the early age of 15, and became a member of the Big Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Townsend. He later transferred his membership to Blackburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America, in 1961, under the leadership of Reverend McKinley Jones; where he remained a member until God called him home.

Tommy departed this Life on April 5, 2013, three days shy of his 80th birthday, in the comfort of his home. He was loved and cherished by many, and this was shown very much during his illness.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a very loving and devoted wife, Sarah Cole of Huntsville, Alabama; two brothers, Harris Cole of Huntsville, Alabama, and Luther (Ollie) Cole of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two sisters, Ceola Massey of Huntsville, Alabama and Earnistine (Neil) Common of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Cherished memories are also left with his children, Billy Ray Fuller, Ledon Fuller, Tyrone Rogers, Melissa Rogers, Tommy Ray (Sharon) Smith, Larry Farrior, Timothy (Naisha) Hammond, Cathy (Malcolm) Gopher, Latasha (Jeffery) Robinson, all of Huntsville, Alabama, and Tiffany Cole of Fayetteville, Tennessee, thirteen grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Blackburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America (906 Plummer Road, Huntsville, AL 35806) with Pastor McKinley Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Mr. Cole will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

Public Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013; and from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Royal Funeral Home.
