Tamara Julia Martin died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at her residence in Midland.
She was born on Dec. 22, 1951, in Tampa, Fla., to Mary and Wray Storey. She married Rickey W. Martin on Aug. 11, 1972, in Odessa. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at the Permian Basin in 1989 and then, pursued her graduate degree in psychology, while working as an intake coordinator with Centers for Children and Families.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Matthew Anderson of Galveston; her husband, Rickey Martin of Midland; her sisters, Rosemary Harris of Tulsa, Okla., and Esther Storey of Odessa; her brother, the Honorable William A. Storey of Fayetteville, Ark.; and two grandchildren, Katherine and Jack Anderson.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, June 21, at the First Presbyterian Church of Odessa. Arrangements were under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Hwy. Midland, Texas, (432) 683-5555.
