In June of 2013 the Powerhouse fire destroyed the house, outbuilding and the orchard that had been planted by the Frakes family.
On June 12, 2013 we went back to our family home to find that nothing remained but the cemetery.
Occupation: Rancher and fruit grower. The family grew apples, pears and almonds.
