Mrs. August Wehner, 74, St. Cloud, and former of here, died Tuesday night at St. Joseph hospital, Milwaukee, following a lingering illness.

Mrs. Wehner, nee Margaret Braun, was born May 20, 1864, at St. Joe, Fond du Lac County. The Kropp family lived here for many years and conducted the Kropp hotel for more than 12 years. Twenty years ago Mrs., Kropp moved to St. Cloud where she was married to August Wehner.

Funeral services will be held Friday at the home and at St. Claudius church, St. Cloud, where a solemn requiem mass will be celebrated. The celebrants will be nephews of the deceased, the Rev. William Braun, Bloominton, Wis.; Rev. Henry Letz, Manitowoc; Rev. E. Zohlen of St. Cloud. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Mary cemetery. Survivors besides her husband, are one daughter, Mrs. John Wolf, Elkhart Lake; one son, Dr. John Kropp, Manitowoc; three grandchildren; one brother, John Braun, Athens; two sisters, Mrs. Appolonia Meyer, Wausau; Mrs. Anna Meier, Chilton; six half- sisters, Mrs. Kate Chesak, Mondovi; Mrs. Rose Becker, Thorp; Mrs. Helen Mauer, Mrs. Josephine Berres, Mrs. Caroline Rauen, Mrs. Emma Albrecht, all of Athens; and one half brother, Frank Braun, Milwaukee.
