Son of John A. and Emma Lillian (Poole) Kennedy, J. Harry Kennedy was the proprietor of G. Frank Thomas and Son Insurance in Frederick, Md. He was active in many Frederick organizations, including St. John's Catholic Church, the Elks Club, Knights of Columbus, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was an enthusiastic fisherman and baseball fan.
Mr. Kennedy was stricken in Palm Beach while on a vacation he had taken on the advice of doctors concerned about his heart. His death followed his wife's by only a few months.
The Kennedys were survived by two children, Harriet Elizabeth and Robert Kreh Kennedy (1913-1968).
