Mark J. Barr, 56, of 208 W. Ninth St., Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Maytown, died Monday at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital, Tulsa, after an illness of one week. Barr was employed at the Naval Supply Depot, Tulsa. A veteran of World War II, he served in the Navy and was a member of the Donegal Post 809 of the American Legion, Maytown. A 1943 graduate of the former East Donegal High School, he was known for his basketball and baseball skills. Born in Oaklyn, NJ, he was a son of the late Howard and Julia Whalen Barr. He is survived by two sons, Stephen and Mary J., Jr.; and five brothers, John Howard, Marietta; Robert J. Maytown; Paul J., Marietta R1; Edwin F., Elizabethtown R1; and Joseph L., Chicago, Ill.
