John Carl Bichlmeier, 61 years old, passed away Friday, August 21, 1953, at Providence Hospital. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Joseph Society and the IBEW Local No 124 electrical workers union.

He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Bichlmeier; two daughters, Mrs. June Smarker of 24 South 20th and Mrs. Lorraine Day of 2737 North 37th, both in Kansas City, Kan.; four brothers, Frank George Bichlmeier of 6605 Richmond in Kansas City, Kas., Lawrence Anton Bichlmeier of Route No. 4 North Kansas City, William Herman Bichlmeier of St. Mary, Neb., and Joseph Andrew Bichlmeier of Osmond, Neb.; five sisters, Mrs. Kate Zitzelsberger of Breckenridge, Minn., Mrs. Mary Zitzelsberger of Almena, Wis., Sister M. Seraphine OSF in Harper, Ia., Mrs. Bertha Peschel of Wathena, Kas., Mrs. Cecelia Weinandt of Wynot, Neb., and two grandchildren.

The Rosary was prayed at the Reising Funeral Chapel where the family received friends. The Funeral Mass was celebrated from Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment followed at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
