Don E. Campbell, 79, of Leesburg, died Friday, June 7, 2013 at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.

He was born June 9, 1933 in Lynchburg, the son of the late William and Evelyn Wilkin Campbell.

Don was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church, Leesburg Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons 78, Valley of Cincinnati Scottish Rite, and enjoyed wintering in Florida with his wife for the last 17 years.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Griffith Campbell, whom he married March 30, 1963 at the home of her parents in Leesburg.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 15 at the Leesburg United Methodist Church. Pastor Rich Allen will officiate. Burial will follow in the High Top Cemetery near Samantha, where Masonic services by Leesburg Masonic Lodge and military honors by the Highland County Honor Guard, will be held.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are directed to the Leesburg United Methodist Women, P.O. Box 333, Leesburg, Ohio 45135; or Leesburg Masonic Lodge 78, P.O. Box 371, Leesburg, Ohio 45135.
