Military Service.
Company H, Ninth Regiment Kentucky Infantry
Joined Captain Cram's Company October 25th, 1861 He was described as being 5' 11" tall with a dark complexion, black eyes, black hair and a farmer.
He was discharged from service May 25th, 1862 on a Surgeons Certificate of Disability due to an ulcer on his leg that prevented him from doing his duty as a soldier in the infantry.
Place of discharge was in camp near Corinth, Mississippi. Discharged by order of Major General Buell."
