Mrs. Clare E. Wallace, 82, Of 405 E. Locust St., Clearfield, died in her home Saturday at 9:30 a. m.
A daughter of the late Archibald Stewart and Rebecca(Shirey) Shaw, she was born April 19, 1881, Goshen Township, Clearfield County. She was a member of Pilgrim Holiness Church, Hyde.
Survivors include: one son, John of Clearfield; four daughter, Ruth, with whom she made her home, Mrs. Delbert (Leona) Williams of Clearfield, Pearle M. of Altoona, Mrs. Arthur (Mable) Morrison of Sylacauga, Ala.; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; five brothers: Guy, Frank P. and Russell E. Shaw of Clearfield, King Shaw of Willows, Calif., and Clifford Shaw of Providence, R. I.; and two sisters, Mrs. Cyrus (Gussie) Hoover of Miami, Fla., and Media Shaw Suthers of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by three sons, Magnus, Klare and Dorsey; one daughter, Earla Mae; and three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held from the Bennett Funeral Home, Clearfield, tomorrow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John Gangaware officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of services tomorrow.
