LEMIEUX, BRUCE PAUL Marne Bruce P. LeMieux, aged 69, passed away at his home Saturday, June 8, 2013 unexpectedly after being diagnosed with cancer. Bruce was preceded in death by his daughter, Maria Kasnowicz and his parents, Clifford and Clara LeMieux. Bruce graduated from Coopersville High School in 1962 and served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Rinaldi Pizza and Sub Shop in Marne for 25 years. Bruce enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and especially his grandchildren. He had a kind and loving heart and was always there to help others in any way he could. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 39 years, Mary; children, Monica (Michael) Ervin, Simon (Kay) LeMieux, Matthew (Jennifer) Karas, Joseph (Heidi) LeMieux, Steven (Sheli) LeMieux and Vickie (Calvin) Easley; son-in-law, Brian Kasnowicz; 25 grandchildren, Nick, Jessica, Jake, Adam, Ashley, Lizzy, Andrew, Nate, Anthony, Patrick, Emma, Caleb, Jack, Allison, Isaac, Ayden, Wes, Matthew, Eli, Aaron, Loren, Zach, Daryl, Jasmine and Timothy; brothers, Norm (Meg) LeMieux, Eugene (Pat) LeMieux, Allen (Cheryl) LeMieux, Randy (Rhonda) LeMieux and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 11 am at St Mary's Catholic Church, 15164 Juniper, Marne, Fr. William Zink, Celebrant. Burial will be in St Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Marne. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. A scripture service will be held Tuesday evening during the visitation at 8:30 pm. Memorial donations may be made to Helen Devos Children's Hospital Foundation, Hematology-Oncology Unit, 100 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
