Harry H. Hinkson, 68, of Reesville, died Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the Winters Rest Home, Washington C.H., where he had been a patient for two weeks. He had been failing in health for two years and was seriously ill six months.
The son of Frank and Anna Shepp Hinkson, he was born at Reesville April 23, 1883. Most of his life had been spent in that community, and he was employed for a number of years at the Melvin Stone Co.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joe McCallister of Reesville, and Mrs. Walter Palmer, of Lyndon; one son, Harold Hinkson of Roanoke, Va.; one brother, Fred Hinkson of Dayton; three sisters, Mrs. Maud Cruickshank of Dayton, Mrs. Willa Remick of Youngstown, and Mrs. Helen Backer of Connecticut, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Littleton Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Ray Huff. Interment was in West Carrollton cemetery.1
