Mrs. Hinkson was born Oct. 24, 1891 near Careytown, the daughter of Oscar and Dora Edith Jones Syford. She spent most of her life in the Reesville and Wilmington areas, before moving to Frankfort nine years ago to make her home with her daughter. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Harold; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Mary Jo) Palmer of Frankfort and Mrs. Joseph (Irma) McCallister of Hillsboro Rt. 5; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, with burial in the Centerville Cemetery, Lees Creek.
