Betty L. Babbitt, 65, of Rockland Road, died Wednesday at Horton Memorial Hospital in Middletown.
A native of Ellisburg, Mrs. Babbitt lived in Jefferson County before moving to Roscoe. She was the widow of Eugene Babbitt.
Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Babbitt of Cortland; four sons, Tommy of Tully, William F. of McLean, Robert J. of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and John of McGraw; her companion, Neil Kelly of Roscoe; two sisters, Shirley Staie and Ruth Edwards, both of Adams; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Cortland. Spring burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek.
