ROCK HILL Mr. Earl Robbins, 87, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010, at his home.
The funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Catawba Ward with Bishop Milton Osborn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A native of Chesnee, S.C., Mr. Robbins was the son of the late Frank Robbins and the late Effie Harris Robbins. He was a carpenter and a master potter for the Catawba Indian Nation. He was the widower of Viola Harris Robbins.
Surviving are his sons, Barney Robbins and Frank Robbins, both of Rock Hill and Bradley Robbins of Chester; his daughter, Margaret Robbins of Rock Hill; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his caregiver, Patty Higdon.
