MRS. HARMON COOK IS DEAD IN ARCOLA

Succumbs at Home of Parents After Brief Illness—Funeral Probably Wednesday.


Arcola, Ill., Oct. 23, — Mrs. Harmon Cook, whose home is four miles east of Arcola, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Stewart, in Arcola Sunday morning. She had been ill for some time from malarial fever and was also suffering from asthma. She came to Arcola Saturday to see a doctor and not feeling well enough to return home, decided to remain over night with her parents. Her death came unexpectedly Sunday morning.

Mrs. Cook's maiden name was Ida Stewart and she had lived all her life in the Arcola neighborhood. About fifteen years ago she was married to Harman Cook at Tuscola. Two children were born to this union a son and daughter, who with the husband survive.

She also leaves her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Stewart, one brother, Clifford, and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Lindsay and Mrs. Della Thompson of Arcola.

The funeral will probably be held Wednesday, although definite arrangements have not been made.
