The wedding of Mr. James Francis Windham and Miss Monnie Jo McCants, which occurred at their country home six miles north of Butler, was an interesting social event of Tuesday evening. Rev. J.H. Stanford, of Columbus, officiated. The ceremony was witnessed by the immediate relatives and few friends of the couple.
The groom, who is one of the substantial businessmen of Butler, has been indeed fortunate in winning the heart and hand of such a pure, bright, attractive young lady who will govern with queenly grace the home over which she will preside.
Mr. Windham is a progressive merchant and one of the members of the board of Aldermen of Butler.
Children of JAMES WINDHAM and MONNIE MCCANTS are:
LOUISE WINDHAM, m. C.J. McCRARY
FRANCES WINDHAM, m. GEORGE TOWSON
