Mrs. C. Logan, 89, Dies; Long Ill
Mrs. Cynthia Logan, 89, of Arcola, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harriett Pope, 820 Charleston avenue, after an illness of five months. Mrs. Logan had been with her daughter in Mattoon for the past seven years.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Arcola Presbyterian church, Dr. Edgar Lucas officiating. Burial will be in the Arcola cemetery. The body has been taken to the Shrader funeral home in Arcola.
Mrs. Logan was born April 18, 1860, in Lerna, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Miller. She was married to Albert Logan in 1881. Mr. and Mrs. Logan were Arcola residents form the time of their marriage until he died in 1938.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Pope, Mrs. Eugenie Cuppy of Humboldt, and Mrs. Carrie Edgar of Arcola; and two sons, John Logan of Tuscola and George Logan of Arcola.
