Joyce Lenore Bellamy of Creswell died of cancer on June 3 at the age of 80. She was born on November 25, 1932 in East Grand Forks, MN to Emmette and Myrtle (Atwood) Vandeventer. She married John Bellamy on August 1, 1948 in Olympia, WA. She was a homemaker who took care of her family.She enjoyed growing flowers and plants, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She loved people and took every opportunity to talk to them. She knew everybody. But it was her family who were the most important to her. Joyce was a member of Creswell Christian Center. She is survived by her husband, John; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Kathy Bellamy of Creswell; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Cindy Bellamy of Creswell; sister, Tudy Krostue of East Grand Forks, MN; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughters Bonnie Davis and Teresa Garboden; grandson, Michael Bellamy; and granddaughter, Jaclyn Garboden. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 11:00 a.m., at Creswell Christian Center. Inurnment will be in Creswell Pioneer Cemetery.
