Mr. Davis died Tuesday. The Rev. Chester Smith of Tallahassee and the Rev. J. R. Sellers of Moultrie conducted the last rites.
Mr. Davis was a native of Five Forks Community in Thomas County and moved to Tallahassee eleven years ago.
Mr. Davis' wife, the former Isabell Smith, died in 1954. He was a farmer and a member of Kennedy Freewill Baptist
Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Lucy and Laura both of Tallahassee; two sons, Willie W. of Meigs and Clifford of Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers, Labren and Babe both of Meigs, and Aaron of Thomasville. Nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren also survive. Mrs. James Flowers and Mrs. James Harby are Mr. Davis' grandchildren from Moultrie.
