Matthew Donovan was the oldest and only son of Jacqueline Lee Ten-Brink Donovan Simms Starks and Matthew Donovan (Sr.). He was shot and killed during a robbery at his place of business in Sacramento , California in 1987.
He was very outgoing, doted on his mother and his younger sisters. I believe I was told he was wanting to go into the ministry. He loved to play basketball and fish. He was a very strong presemce in my life growing up as our families were close. ( he is my cousin). He was a quiet person and a bit shy, but still loved to be involved. His death hit us all very hard. He is still missed to this day.
